Custom, made to order & handcrafted return policy

We take pride in creating high-quality custom, made-to-order, and handcrafted items that are tailored to your specific preferences. Due to the personalized nature of these products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.

To ensure your complete satisfaction, we have implemented the following return policy:

  1. Approval of Digital Proof: Upon placing your order, please email within 30 minutes to request a digital proof of your item. This allows you to review and approve the design before production begins. Once you have approved the digital proof, changes cannot be made, and the production process will commence.

  2. Manufacturing Defects or Errors: If your custom, made-to-order, or handcrafted item arrives with a manufacturing defect or error caused by Smoke & Mirrors, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. We will assess the issue and, if verified, arrange for a replacement or offer a suitable solution at our discretion.

  3. Exclusions: Please note that general wear and tear, slight variations in color or texture, and minor imperfections are considered inherent characteristics of handmade and custom products. These factors do not qualify as manufacturing defects and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

  4. Non-Returnable Items: In addition to custom, made-to-order, and handcrafted items, certain other products may also be non-returnable due to hygiene reasons or other factors. These items will be clearly stated as non-returnable on the product page.

  5. Return Authorization: Prior to returning any product, please contact our customer service team at to obtain a return authorization. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or processed.

  6. Return Shipping: If a return is approved for a valid reason, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of the product. Smoke & Mirrors Design will not be held liable for any damage or loss that occurs during the return shipping process.

  7. Refunds and Exchanges: In the event of a valid return, Smoke & Mirrors Design will either replace the item with a new one or, if a replacement is not feasible, issue a refund in the original form of payment. Please allow for a reasonable processing time for the return to be inspected and processed.
